Depth Guild // Alliance // Blackrock

Well it looks as if Sunwell came close to be Naxxramas just like pre-TBC.  So many guilds never got to finish it.  IF it wasn’t for the nerf, I’d say most guilds would not have seen Kil’jaeden let alone gotten him down.  I don’t know about other guilds, but I know for a fact, this was not due to a lack of skill, if any person could state that WOW requires skill to play.  If there was however, I don’t think Depth lacks it, well, maybe Nutteh (retard point winner 2007 + 2008).

Whilst some may not see these bosses down now as an achievement, the fact is, the amount of wipes, the amount of hardship and general lack of enjoyment from Sunwell due to stupid mechanics, I’m going to take the kill for what it was, the end of an expansion, the end of an era etc etc etc.

We are one of the guilds that have been stuck on M’uru.  If for any reason, due to not having the attendance to support the 500 attempts required to get it down.  We had it to stage
2 months ago and just haven’t had the attendance as you would expect this late in the game.

So anyway, Sunwell went from Failwell to LOLwell.  M’uru down Wednesday night our first raid night of the week on the second attempt LOLZ.  Kil’jaeden should of died Thursday night (10% wipe QQ) but thats the way it goes.  Went down tonight, Sunday night.  It was expected it would die fairly quickly.

As per usual, we will be raiding the usual days (AEST) Wed, Thurs, Sun, Mon.  8:00PM raid starts (AEDT) and when not in DST, 7:30PM AEST.  Raids hardly ever go for more than 4 hours.  Apply on the forums if you are interested.

Well, this took a bit longer than we had hoped or expected.  Well, it should of been down 2 weeks ago in reality (or even sooner) but as per usual, it is that time in the game where people start to flake out (ZOMG expansion coming) or people discover how awesome real-life can be.

We did two bosses tonight, first: THE LEDGE BOSS

and for the main event, Eredar Twins

A fucking spectacular job by all involved.  Healers did fucking awesome, tanks did awesome, DPS did awesome.  All in all and awesome night.  Can’t wait to take on Mu’ru the guild  killer!  NERF INC?  Not sure when you will see the next update.  Given the top 2 alliance guilds on the server haven’t’ gotten Mu’ru down yet and its been at least 2-3 months, I don’t like our chances before the expansion.

It’s no secret I am a massive rang. Not as rang as Xinhuan however, he holds the "biggest rang" award on the server.  So anyway, I was flying around Sunwell doing that bombing run on my paladin (he is an engineering scrub china) when I noticed this yellow dot on my miini map.  It was that gigantic bitch Felmyst flying around.  Obviously she had to drop some massive numbers of primals.

I got my niggas together to tie the bitch down and drain those primals.  After she was held down, I pointed my Mote Extractor at her and drained that shit outta her.and this is what I found…..

A good effort by all involved.  We came in and two shot her on Sunday night, after a few attempts Thursday night after two-shotting Brutallas with a new tank on the job.  Been a good week and now the wipefest begins on Twins!  Already wiping on her atm and they are massively fun. 

We’ve had a bit of a rough patch lately with healers.  Our latest healer had issues with his raid times and he left and joined Eminence.

We were close on killing Brutallus last week; 1% to be exact.  Tonight we went in and killed Kalecgos relatively quickly and finished off the night by killing Brutallus.  Good work to all involved.

The tanks communicated very well, the healers did a great job considering some of them had a distinct lack of gear.  The DPS had to step up. We have 8 healers in our raid for Brutallus and a lot of other guild’s WWS show that they take 7.  DPS stepped up and just managed to shave in a kill before enrage.

Next up is Felmyst. Thanks to Danwe for discovering my bad grammar in this post (hence I’ve re-written most of it). Thats what you get for posting just before midnight with red/tired eyes after the ANZAC long weekend. Lest we forget!

It has been a while since posting on the guild web site, and with Sunwell having come out just recently, it was only a matter of time before we started posting our awesome kill shots again.  The server has been well and truly fucked since the patch came out.  What was supposed to "fix" the lag issues oceanic players have during their raiding peak time, appears not to have been fixed.  What I refer to of course is the CP update.

Last week, we hit up Sunwell pretty early, however, we were continually screwed over by the server lag, not to mention server restart in the middle of our raiding peak hour.  Nevertheless, we ventured back into Sunwell last night after farming epics for new recruits Wed/Thurs and took down (I mean, saved) Kalecgos.

We have a lot of dedicated raiders in the guild, including those that come in to clear trash only to be subbed out on the boss.  You guys are champions.   This kill belongs to you as much as those people that were in the raid.

I was hoping we’d have had another post by now which goes something like "ZOMG WARGLAIVES", however, as per true Depth style, we’re unlucky with loot, heck, we only just got our first Skull of Gul’dan.

This wasn’t warglaives, but it was first Sunwell boss loot, grats to the following:
