Depth Guild // Alliance // Blackrock

Tonight Depth finally completed all TBC raid content available.  This is a great achievement for the guild and would not have been achievable without many of the people who did not get in on the first kill.

Thank you to the people who were on standby.  We can’t fit you all in.  I know that I would like to have gotten a lot of you in for the first kill.

A big shout out to those who were in Depth who contributed to us getting this far.  A big fuck you to the people I don’t like (LOL) including the people who didn’t think the guild could do it.

A big thanks to my co-GM Oakshana (Dreweth).  He has been GM with me for a while now and I can’t imagine anyone else ever being along side me running the guild.  The guild wouldn’t be the same without you.

To the officers, the guild wouldn’t run without you.  You contributed a lot in terms of organizing pots, flasks, and just generally running raids.

The next post I hope is either Facesmasher getting a War Glaive or Sunwell.  See you all in Sunwell. 

First of all, Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year!  It is a bit late, but I don’t make a habit of making posts just to express good will and all that shit.  I like to post when the guild has done something so here is the post  

It’s been a while since the last post.  There have been a few things happening between our Shahraz kill and this kill which should have happened sooner but, we were kind of screwed over by the server dying in the ass when we were last trying Council.  I have no doubt it would of died that night too.

The Xmas break bought many things to us including having to do yet another T6 attunement run.  Our wonderful run of SSC followed by a shit and dire TK run was nothing short of great fun.  Kael was shit as per usual but I put that down to other problems in our current class line up. 

We finally got back to progression this week and after getting Hyjal and BT up to Shahraz in 2 nights, this left us Illidari Council and Illidan to try out.  We defeated Illidari Council tonight so hopefully that means we’re close to Illidan meeting his demise at the hands of that slut Maiev Shadowsong.

Anyway, here is the obligatory screen shot.:

For anyone that gives a shit, there is the usual "OMG Sak died this means its a kill".  Believe it or not, I died on the kill.  In fact, I was the first to die.  Got bres’d about 60% or so and died again @ 30%.  I hate you fuckers seriously.

Hopefully this will be followed by a final BT progression post sooner rather than later.

OH!  Can’t forget the faggotry RP standard SS that EVERY guild has to put up which is the usual "Hi Illidan you fuck face".  Just so we are like every other guild out there:

ON Illidan….. We walked in and Shahraz and Illidan were doing the deed.  This dude has a lot of hoe.  Illidan should really have himself a pimp hat.  After Shahraz wiped her mouth clean, we proceeded to kill her.  People were not joking when they said she was nerfed.  We were already pretty deficient tonight in terms of choice of raiders.  We had no one on standby, 9 healers in the raid not to mention one of our DPS was d/c on Shahraz so we 24 manned her with more healers than we’d have liked.  Not to mention, we one-shot her.  I’m not sure we’ve one shot any other boss in here but the Max shadow resist really does make this fight a total joke.

Although I’m kinda embarrassed posting we killed her, none-the-less, its another notch. 

We did check out council to get a feel for the fight.  Hopefully Council will be dead tomorrow which will just leave Illidan.  With Christmas coming up however, I don’t think we’ll be getting Illidan down before Christmas but hopefully we’ll get to "see" him at least.

Tonight we got Reliquary down.  We don’t quite have enough Hearts of Darkness (qq).  Now taking donations!!!!

I’d like to take this opportunity to say – Fuck you Blizzard for all these terrible drops that the "hrader" bosses of BT have been giving us.  Thanks for the Druid shit leather gear off BB & Gorefiend. 

Not a bad effort on the guild’s part.  Our first kill of Bloodboil after essentially 1 night of attempts.  We did spend about 30 minutes on him after we cleared the first part of Black Temple on Thursday night but tonight (Sunday) was where we made a lot more progress and eventually (on our last attempt LOL!!!) we killed it.  This gives us time tomorrow now to work on Reliquary.  Such a fucking random boss and I thought Archimonde was random.

BTW, thanks blizzard for the shit loot.  Worst fucking loot ever.  Our first kill and one item goes for the minimum bid and the other gets disenchanted.  In fact, I think this is the first disenchant we’ve ever had off of a Black Temple boss so far.  On a first kill, fucking lame. 

The guild is progressing very well this week.  Azgalor + Gorefiend + Kaz’rogal means 3 new bosses down for the guild.  This is only going to get tougher as we race Christmas to hopefully get up to Illidan.  This is doable but it is going to be hard given our strict 4-day only raid schedule.

Given what this guild has to sacrifice in terms of farm content to progress, the guild is moving along very well.  Good job to all this week who pulled together to notch up some progression for the guild.

Azgalor we went in and one-shot.  I wasn’t there on Thursday, but I’m sure without all the learning of the trash + boss, I doubt it would of been possible for us to one shot him. 

Which brings us to Teron Gorefiend.  This fight is easy, if you have the right people getting the ghost debuff.  It isn’t a particular hard fight apart from that.  This is pretty much the last loot pinata boss in Black Temple.

Our next focus is Archimonde to get some phat T6 helms!
