Depth Guild // Alliance // Blackrock

It seems like its been a long time since I made a post on here, but its not actually that long.

It was only a bit over 3 weeks ago that we got Vashj down for the first time.  We’ve followed up and finally killed Kael’thas and thus cleared Tempest Keep and opened up the path way to Tier 6. 

I was a bit skeptical going into the raid last night as we had some key people missing from our raid for various reasons.  Some people I thought would not be on did actually end up showing up.

After a second clear and a very painful 5% wipe (thanks Ignacious!) we got it down on I shit you not, our last attempt for the night!  3 people had to leave and trash was going to respawn and we gave it one last go to prove that we could do it, not to mention, get this shit down once and for all and on what better day than the 2nd anniversary of the guild creation, 24 September, 2005.

Most guilds have an obligatory OMG we just killed Rage Winterchill right after Kael, but not this week.  People really did have to go and it was also getting pretty late.  Plus today is likely patch day and we wouldn’t get to raid anyway!

That however, didn’t stop most of us at least taking a look at Hyjal for shits and giggles.

To those who have left us over the past year, it was a pleasure raiding/playing with you.  To those that have joined in the last year, it is a pleasure to enjoy your company.  Screw it, for those not in Depth, sucks to be you!!!!!!!! 

So like this dude Outland, had his T4 stolen.  He said, if we went and got it back from Solarian, he’d be really really really happy and promised to grow a set and finally reach puberty.  So we set out to Solarian and found that skank wearing the T4.

We recovered the T4 for him, and he wouldn’t even like, wear it.  Oh well.  Thanks to Outland, we actually progressed this week.  good going man, couldn’t of done it without you.  We are so noob.

So like, we heard about this phoenix that was causing trouble, so, I went and saw the only person that could help us.  Hermoine Granger.  SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT.  Fawkes dies in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.  He was killed by a mass zerg of noobs.  We were contracted by Voldemort to kill that fucking annoying pet of Dumbledore’s.

Enough of the roleplay, Al’ar is a joke.  4th go and we had him down.  I think this is the boss we’ve had the least trouble with in all Tier 5 so far.  Advice to guilds skipping him for VR.  Don’t do it.  Just kill him and get it over and done with.

Depth has done what pretty much shit loads of other guilds have done by now since the eye has opened up, we’ve killed Loot Reaver.  Hes not really THAT easy to call Loot Reaver, but I’ll be a sheep and call him that too.

We did have a go at him the other night but got owned by Blizzard’s early maint err, restart.  We cleared the trash reasonably quick this week and after DPS got used to the fact they actually had to move, we got him down.  It is a good thing we got him down, as its likely it would have been the last attempt as I’m pretty sure trash was gonna re-spawn in that room.

Valdriel is clearly OP and hunters need to be nerfed!  So does the Felguard it seems! 

I’m in the process of updating the guild front site.  It is a fucking horrible looking colour scheme at the moment, but it should be changed in the next few days and your eyes should recover…. in time….
