Depth Guild // Alliance // Blackrock

I guess this is a bit late, but I wanted to get everyone together who achieved Glory of the Raider before the drake was removed. Congratulations go out to 19 people in the guild who achieved Glory of the Raider. Unfortunately, we missed out on getting Immortal and Heroic: Glory of the Raider, but, shit happens. Lets face it, Immortal was a fucking stupid idea for an achievement anyway. Blizzard can take that achievement and shove it up their tight asshole and bleed from the lag spikes, raider incompetence etc etc. Hey guys, lets make an achievement which singles out a person for fucking up that you can only attempt once a week. Lets also make sure we fuck people over with a shit ping kthx.

Anyway, my thanks to people who helped me achieve Glory of the Raider and well done for taking time out on weekends etc to achieve this.

Well, it’s been a while since the last post.  It seems this expansion is no different from the first expansion in that we take a while to warm up.  It took us a bit longer than other guilds to get over the hump of content, and it seems in this case, it was Sarth + 3 drakes.

Like every guild there are retards.  At least it’s down, finally.  Thank you Obama for your inspiration.  Can we get Sarth down with 3 drakes?  Yes, we can!

After much screwing around and people taking their time getting to level 80, Depth has cleared all raid content released for the start of Wrath of the Lich King.  This doesn’t include those funky achievements, but, I am sure we’ll be working on those next, especially Sarathion with 3 drakes up!

Since Malygos 25 man was our last raid encounter to complete, I thought it fitting that the screenshot be of us not lined up in any way all clumped around the loot chest!

In fact, if someone hadn’t of said "Should we get a screen shot?", this screenshot would not be up here, that is how much of a joke WOTLK raid content has been thus far.  This is however, not me complaining.  I think it is about time.  As far as I’m concerned, wiping for months on a boss only to watch your raid members dwindle away is just NOT FUN.  I think the challenges for the top guilds will end up being the achievements and hope thats the way it stays.

Games are meant to be fun, and thus far, I’m having fun in WOTLK.  I hope it stays that way.  See you next post which I hope is some sort of cool achievement.

Well Lich King got released whilst I was away on holidays for a week and I’m still in the process of leveling up.  There are a bunch of people in guild already that were 80 by the time I got back and are raiding and have cleared a lot of the 10 man content (all I think) and are also running joint raids with other guilds to knock over the 25 man content.

Before I left, I handed over GM to Dreweth.  Drew and I have been pretty much co-GM’s and it is his turn for the expansion to be the man.

Not much else has been happening.  I’ll post something more when I cbf.
