We had some unfinished business in Gruul’s Lair.  Last Thursday, Gruul got off easy.  We let that dude sulk after we wasted his posse.  Depth rolled up in da pimp mobile today to smash that one-eyed fag, once and for all.  Depth this time however, had a secret weapon!

 

These wiggaz were waitin’ on the sidelines to smash Gruul if that pansy came running out, not to mention puttin’ in a couple of shots.  Now, for da kill shotz..

 

Grats to Ruffrogue on his pimpin’ new tier 4 legz.  The rest of da loot was shit and not worth mentionin’.  Next week dat nigga is gonna drop da good l00tz.

Congratulations go out to Team 2 of Karazhan led by Lexsor.  Last night after Gruul, they went back to Karazhan and killed Curator.  They are now up to Aran and should have that place cleared in no time!

 

Finally, High King Maulgar has been killed by Depth.  It has been a struggle to get the numbers for this encounter which I knew was easy from the start but like anything, it takes time.  We had 31 people on for the raid and like all BC raids, not everyone can make the raid .  My apologies go out to people who couldn’t make it into the raid for class balance reasons.  It was a good kill and congratulations to everyone in the guild who was involved and congratulations to those who were stuck out the front for the entire raid being bored to tears.

 

Congratulations to Facesmasher who got his shoulders – [Warbringer Shoulderguards].  No one was going to beat you with how much DKP you had.

We moved on to Gruul next.  We did pretty good in our first and only hour of attempts as it was getting pretty late.  35% was the best we got him to.  He will be going down this week so expect another SS from Depth! 

We’ve fallen on hard times recently with a few people departing the guild due to not getting into the guild’s first group for Karazhan.  With this bunch of people having EMO fits and kicking out the shit people, its been hard to get enough people to raid one Karazhan let alone two, although, things are looking up.  This is why although Nightbane has been killed by shit-loads of guilds world-wide, its still a milestone for Depth given recent events.

The more dedicated members who didn’t get into the first group are around and are in the second group and IMO, making great progress, especially when we compare their class balance and our original perfect class balance for the first group in the first few weeks of raiding. 

Last night we went in and killed Nightbane after finishing the heroic quest the night before.  Shattered Halls on heroic is nothing short of a terrible fucking joke.  I don’t know what those fucking newbs at Bilzzard were thinking with this already stupidly retarded instance.

Anyway, I could sit here and bash Blizzard to death all day long but I got other things to do.  The first group for Karazhan has gotten Nightbane down and hopefully tonight we’ll score a Netherspite kill.

BTW, Depth is still recruiting.  We’re looking for quality players to help get us back off our feet.  While we’ll be not far off clearing Kara, thats only one group.  Our second group needs to bolster its ranks and we need more people for the 25 man runs.
