Finally the Frost Queen is down for us. A real shaky raid week for us with really poor attendance on loot nights (Wed/Thurs), Sunday raid a no go due to CNY & Valentines (c’mon guys as if a majority have a GF, as if Mrs Palmer counts!).
Rogues are gud on this fight, wait, what rogues??

We have rogues in our guild I hear and they are good for blood queen, but none were online for this kill. Congrats to everyone at the kill and waiting outside. I believe the only people we had on standby were a couple of tanks and maybe one ranged DPS. Sunday is a big change of attendance to loot night. Nevertheless, its dead. Time for the progression group to kill the rest of the instance so people can get loot on loot-night Wednesday!
Ok, so not ALL alts, but the majority was. Carried by mil. Nice job by the two new trials in this group Shaokhann and Nitecore who had never done some of these fights before. Pretty smooth run really.
Amazing what happens when people log on…. oh wait, we recruited….

Crazy, we managed to kill Professor Putricide this week. Wasn’t really that hard, but, what was hard was the attendance boss!

Depth is recruiting for Icecrown raiding. The Xmas period has seen some flaking out and we are having issues with attendance, particularly for progression content.
We’re looking for the following:
1x Resto Druid
1x Healing Pally
1x Tank (DK, Druid or Warrior)
DPS would also be desirable, particularly the following:
1x Mage

The guild treading a fairly fine line when it comes to attendance these days so we have not had much opportunity to even attempt Twin Val’kyr in the last couple of weeks. It was even looking a bit dicey last night with people disconnecting frequently etc but we managed to scrape together a raid and take these gals down. Including the first week when we first tried them, the number of attempts was no more than 30 attempts or so. Was a good effort by all to get this down.
Anub’arak looks pretty hard and I am looking forward to the challenge.
